Youth Tennis

Youth Tennis Lessons

Tennis instruction and competitive play for area youth ages 6 and older. Age is determined by the first day of the program. All classes will run Monday through Friday. If necessary, lessons may be canceled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled. Cancellation notifications will be emailed to participants and posted on the Holland Recreation website.

*Middle School and High School students who wish to attend all four sessions can select the “All Four Sessions” option at checkout to receive a discounted rate.

Register

Beginner

Focused on learning and practicing the fundamentals of tennis using a variety of drills and games. Young students may spend multiple sessions at the Beginner level. Participants MUST be at least six years old by first day of the program. 

Novice

Reinforces the fundamentals of tennis with an added emphasis on developing the serve as well as rally skills. Participants MUST be at least 9 years old.

Middle School

Focused on cooperative and competitive games, as well as introducing match play.  Best for all Middle School aged players. (as of 2026/2027 school year)

High School

Focused on cooperative and competitive games, as well as match play. Designed for High School students, grades 9 -12. (as of 2026/2027 school year)
