Holland Parks and Recreation is currently hiring for a variety of seasonal positions for the spring & summer of 2026. These roles are a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience, spend time outdoors, and help support programs and facilities that serve our community. Opportunities vary, so explore the options below to find the best fit for you!

Overview: Perform weekly maintenance in City of Holland parks, including but not limited to mowing, weed whipping, and backpack blowing.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday – Friday

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years old

Overview: Perform maintenance activities to support the City of Holland athletic programs, including field preparation, lining fields, and preventative maintenance of athletic facilities.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday – Friday
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years old

Overview: Organize, plan, and lead daily activities for youth participating in the Junior Adventure Camp program, including games, crafts, and outdoor activities while ensuring a safe and fun environment.
Pay: $21 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Thursday

Overview: Support Parks and Recreation staff with program planning, events, and daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in recreation program management and community engagement.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: Varied, Some Evenings & Weekends Required

Overview: Support Parks and Recreation staff with marketing and events while gaining hands-on experience creating marketing campaigns and coordinating events.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: Varied, Some Evenings & Weekends Required

Overview: Ensure the safety of patrons at the City of Holland aquatic facilities by monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies when needed.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: The pool is open from roughly 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM each day.

Overview: Lead and instruct tennis programs for youth and adults while promoting skill development, sportsmanship, and safe recreational play.
Pay: $14 per hour
Hours: Mornings, Monday – Friday

Overview: Assist with Parks and Recreation programs, events, and facility operations by supporting staff, setting up activities, and helping create positive experiences for participants.
Pay: $15 per hour
Hours: Various
