Holland Parks & Recreation is excited to partner with Zeeland Recreation,  and Holland Charter Recreation to offer pickleball leagues and clinics to the greater Holland and Zeeland communities. All pickleball programs below are offered at outdoor courts in the greater Holland area and are offered annually between April and October.

Pickleball Camps

Come learn the fastest growing sport in America. Clinics & camps will take place at various times and locations between May – September. Visit the Holland Parks & Recreation website to learn more about specific clinic levels and descriptions. Deadlines and fees vary depending on class. All clinics will be led by qualified instructors and aim to expand participants’ knowledge of the game. Offerings available for beginner players through advanced players. For this class, you will need a pickleball paddle, but a limited amount of paddles on hand for you to use if you do not yet have one. Balls will be provided.

Registration Opening February 10, 2026

In this class we will introduce you to the game of pickleball. Coaching includes rules, scoring and learning the basic strokes of pickleball. For this class, you will need a pickleball paddle. However a limited number of paddles will be on hand for you to use if you don’t yet have one.

This pickleball class is geared toward the pickleballer in the 2.5 range.  In this class we will work on adding to the basic strokes of pickleball – serving, returning the serve, third shot drops and dinking.

This class can be geared toward any level. However, you must not be at the point of confusion on whether your team is serving or returning. If you do not know when the third shot is, or are not able to sustain a small rally, this class is not the best fit for you. We will be working intensely on thirds – both drops AND drives and also working on our “forth” shots too (blocks, and keep backs).

Pickleball Leagues

Join a pickleball league to meet and play with people of your skill level. Each week you will be assigned a court and players to play with for the evening. Individuals will move courts each week depending on how well they do. A prerequisite for joining leagues is that players know a majority of the rules of the game. Players should be aware that league scores may be recorded in DUPR.

Join a pickleball league to meet and play with people of your skill level. Each week teams will be assigned a court and players to play with for the evening. Teams will move courts each week depending on how well they do. Partner leagues will be any combination of male/male, female/female, or male/female. To the best of your ability, please sign up for your appropriate level of play, view the links at the bottom of the page to help determine your pickleball rating. Teams are not guaranteed to remain at the level they sign up for. Partners do not need to register individually for this program. Players should be aware that league scores may be recorded in DUPR.
